Guest Services and Recreation

We know that even the most leisurely guest will want to get out and tour the island or spend time on or in the water. Take advantage of our sea kayaks and find a remote beach or private cay. For those wishing to tour the local landscape, mountain bikes are available. Both the kayaks and mountain bikes are offered at no charge. Reservations however, may be necessary. Motor scooters are available for rent for those who wish to see more of what Long Island has to offer. Maps of breathtaking locations, many of which are only known by locals, and other island highlights are available upon request.

Fishing Charters
Long Island has long been known as one of the best bone fishing destinations in the world. Competent Guides can provide half or full day excursions that we can arrange for your enjoyment. Looking to catch your lunch? We can provide “hand lines’ which you can use from shore to catch and abundant number of fish species.

Snorkeling and Diving
There are ample opportunities to snorkel all over the island to see the multitudes of colorful fish and coral that inhabit the waters. Deep sea diving trips to some of the most outstanding dive venues in the islands are available through Guest Services.

Attention Boaters
The Bahamian Village is currently the only facility in the bay offering a variety of services sure to please. A convenient dingy dock with fresh water supply will soon be available. In addition, showers and laundry facilities as well as wi-fi Internet interface will be offered. Once a day there will be a complimentary shuttle service to allow those needing supplies to travel to town. Of course, all boaters can avail themselves of the fun, food and libation at Parrots. Ground Transportation
Most visitors will arrive by plane into the Deadman’s Cay Airport. We will provide complimentary shuttle services both to and from the airport.
